Now that we have the serious behind us early in the year with Winter Wine Tastings, we can breathe those notes of vanilla, cherry, raspberry, and pepper with so much joy as Spring releases one fragrance after another inspiring olfactory glee.
We’ll be playing right along with Spring wine tastings.
This is the season when our wine tastings will introduce you to all of those crazy terms that accompany the sensational natures of wine, but mostly those of the nose. A bit of coloration, a bit of analysis of the legs of wine, and then who knows it might be minutes before we taste it, just adoring all of the nose options. Here are some other ones we’ll examine: citrus, lemon, melon, boysenberry, chocolate, nutty, white chocolate, fruitcake, black cherries, black currants, toasty oak, peaches, oranges, pineapple, grapefruit. And don’t worry, we won’t skip fresh, tannin, acidic, big, barnyard and simple monikers like sweet and dry. We’ll give you a soup to nuts (BTW, ever seen the 1930’s eponymous feature with the fledgling Three Stooges?)
So join us each week and we’ll give a hint of the wines to be tasted beforehand. Join our newsletter and stay up on spring wine tastings, workshops and events at Slack Farms.
