Memorial Day Weekend! It is a great weekend, often considered the beginning of summertime in America. Moreover it is a time to thank all of those who give their lives to our country to keep us safe, and to recognize those whose ultimate effort cut short their own lives. There is no gratefulness more sincere.

At Slack today, we continue our Spring wine tastings to continue introducing those crazy terms that accompany wines: cinnamon, vanilla, raspberry, blueberry, citrus, lemon, melon, boysenberry, chocolate, nutty, white chocolate, fruitcake, black cherries, black currants, toasty oak, peaches, oranges, pineapple, grapefruit. And don’t worry, we won’t skip fresh, tannin, acidic, big, barnyard and simple monikers like sweet and dry. We’ll give you a soup to nuts.
