Woodlawn

Woodlawn is a 200 acre farm nestled on Calvert Creek on the St. Mary’s River just above its confluence with the Chesapeake Bay. It’s protected setting lent it to adoption as the first Maryland governor’s country homesite in 1634. The current Manor House (pictured above, c. 1798) offers spacious gathering rooms downstairs, an intimate English-style Courtyard and Wine Cottage nestled under tree canopies to the east, and a Tidewater Barn just off the boxwoods to the west.
